Honor someone you love with a website of their own.

Bring the box of photos, the old clippings and the stories only your family knows. Answer a few simple questions about each one. We turn it all into a tribute your whole family can visit, for years to come.

It takes about fifteen minutes. You can stop and come back any time.

How it works

  1. Gather what you havePhotos, newspaper clippings, letters, certificates, stories. Whatever is in the box, the drawer or the phone.
  2. Get it onto a computerPaper goes to a scan shop, or a self-service scanner. We walk you through it. Things already on your phone or computer are ready to go.
  3. Answer simple questionsWho is in this picture? Where was it? About when? Why does it matter? You answer in your own words.
  4. We build the siteYour answers become captions, a story and a timeline. You read everything, change what you like, and then it goes live.
Who is in it?
Grandma and Grandpa
Where was it?
At the lake
When was it?
Not sure yet. A question for the family.

The questions are the whole point.

A photo with no name on the back is just a picture. A photo with a name, a place and a story is a piece of your family. So we ask, one photo at a time, in plain words.

When you are not sure, say so. The site marks it as a question, and a cousin can fill in the rest later.

Who will you honor?

  • A grandparentThe one with the best stories, before they are forgotten.
  • A mother or fatherA thank you that lasts, whether they are here or gone.
  • A husband or wifeA life together, in the order it happened.
  • A friend or teacherThe people who changed you, and never got a statue.

Harold C. Shore was a Wall Street broker and a man who loved a good joke. His grandson made this tribute site from old clippings, family photos and the stories the family still tells.

No boxes in the mail.

Everything stays online. We never ask you to mail your photos, and we never hold your originals. They stay with you.

For paper, a scan shop such as FedEx Office will scan it for you, or you can use their self-service scanner. Our guides show how.

Questions people ask

Do I need to be good with computers?

No. If you can use email and answer questions, you can do this. You never have to touch a website builder.

Who can see the site?

You decide. We build it and you review it before anyone else sees it.

What if I do not know who is in a photo?

Say so. The site can mark a photo as a question for the family to answer later.

What does it cost?

$49, one time. You build and preview your whole tribute first, and you only pay when you publish it.
