The short version: TributeMaker helps you turn your own photos and stories into a tribute website. You decide what goes on it, and you are responsible for what you share.
What TributeMaker is
TributeMaker helps families build a tribute website for someone they love. You bring photos, documents and stories. You answer simple questions about them. We help turn your answers into pages you can review and share.
What it is not
We are not a law firm, a genealogy research service, a funeral home or a records office. We do not verify the facts you give us. Nothing on this site is legal, medical or financial advice.
AI-assisted writing
AI may help draft captions and text from your answers. AI can make mistakes, including mistakes about names, dates and places. You are responsible for reviewing everything before it goes live.
Using the site
- Use TributeMaker for your own family and friends, or for someone who has asked you to help.
- Share only photos and information you have the right to share, and that the family is comfortable seeing.
- Give accurate information. Do not use the site for anything unlawful, to harass anyone, or to spread false statements about a real person.
- Do not try to bypass payment, overload the site or interfere with how it works.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you upload and write. You give us permission to process it, including by sending it to our AI service provider, only as needed to build and show your tribute site. See our Privacy page for how it is handled. We may remove content that breaks these terms.
Pricing and payment
The price is shown before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe.
Refunds
If you are charged and something breaks, email us and we will fix it or refund you. Otherwise, payments are not refundable except where the law requires it.
No warranties
TributeMaker is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error free, or that it will meet your needs.
Limit of our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, SHORE AI LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost opportunities or lost content, arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places do not allow certain limits, so parts of this may not apply to you.
Changes and ending
We may change the site or these terms, and we will update the date above. We may suspend access for misuse. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, unless the law gives you the right to go elsewhere.
